Project Description

On Sunday 13th May 2012 Aristotle University opened its campus and laboratories and invited Thessaloniki’s locals and students to familiarize with the research and innovation activities performing by AUTh researchers.

The project’s team took advantage of the opportunity and organized an event entitled “Energy from Agro-residues” and celebrated in the same time the 20th anniversary of LIFE. Citizens and young students were welcomed to visit the Biomass SMARt CHP demonstration unit in the campus of Engineering School, and the laboratories of Biomass Group of the Chemical Engineering Department and LAT of the Mechanical Engineering Department collaborating for the development of the SMARt CHP unit.
